Michael B. Schulz: Research Interests - Sound
Attention Bryn Mawr students:
In addition to high energy physics, I'm also interested in the intersection of music, computing and physics — for example, compositional algorithms, sound analysis/synthesis and physical modeling of musical instruments (including the human vocal tract).
Expect a more elaborate web page here in the future. For now, two links to look at are:
- at Stanford, particularly
- the of Julius O. Smith,
- his online Physical Audio Signal Processing for Virtual Musical Instruments and Effects,
- which includes a of musical acoustics;
- at Helsinki University of Technology.
